A film of the Energy Generation project
Another excellent piece by Energy Generation :Demanding Times about the importance of raising awareness of and stimulating the debate around energy at a local level.
As part of the Energy Project’s activity for the Connected Communities Festival 2015, we made a film about the work that our team of young researchers have been doing.
This includes clips from interviews with Fiona Booth (Department for Energy and Climate Change), Matthew Pencharz (senior advisor to the Mayor of London), Agamemnon Otero (CEO Repowering London) and Tom Chivers (journalist, Buzzfeed).
It also shows our team of researchers out and about around London. We took Energy Generation ‘on tour’, including a mobile version of our photobooth, to talk to the people of Ilford and Peckham about their views on energy. You can see some of the ‘vox pops’ and the photobooth in action in the film.
Many thanks to all the people who participated in Energy Generation, and to Bojan Brbora for making the film.
(You can watch the film in High Definition on our Vimeo page…
